Revit Ravenna Craftsman

The Ravenna Craftsman home is an existing structure.  This project was a practice in the implementation of the Revit program.  Hence, I did not design any part of the home, but rather this project is a demonstration of some of my technical skills.

AutoCad Kitchen Island Detailing

I designed the kitchen island which is intended to be incorporated into a traditional craftsman home, a comprehensive thought of the family room and kitchen combined. Modern lines and shapes with traditional materials allow the kitchen to flawlessly flow into the family room.

The island is a functional and sculptural piece for guests to gather and interact durning social events.  Functionality was the key desire when designing the island.  I designed a small sink with a disposal to be on the south side of the island, allowing for chopping vegtables or deboning fish. Trash disposal and recycling is under this sink. Open shelving for plates on the west side of the island for easy access from the dishwasher.  The dining counter top on the north side of the kitchen has been laid at an angle, while the south side shelving mirrors this angle, opening the walk space between the built-in cabinetry and the island maintaining balance.  Closed cabinetry on the east side of the kitchen is designed for storage.
